a) ROLE PLAY (8 min)

You`ve arrived to an unknown country;
you do not speak the native language. Then you have noticed your suitcase is
lost.

You invited a friend to have a dinner
in a very expensive restaurant. You haven´t brought your wallet.

You went to the beach, suddenly you`ve
realized your swimsuit isn`t in the suitcase.
b) WRITTEN EXERCISE (7-9 min)
MAGAZINE CREATION / CUSTOMS AND COUNTRIES
In pairs, the
students will create their own magazine. Show them the magazine`s example.
EXAMPLE:
c) DEBATE (6-9 min)
The students will debate which of the
situations is better, either STAY AT HOME DURING A VACATION OF TWO WEEKS or
VISIT A TOURISTIC PLACE.
d) MINI PRESENTATIONS (4 min)
Give the students some minutes to
think about the changes they have experienced so far in the different aspects
of their lives: academic, personal (physical changes), professional, familiar
etc; then, they have to share and present their information with the class.
e) WRITING A STORY (5 min)
The students will work in trios. The
teacher has to show them a picture: a just married couple; then, the students
has to create a story about it.
f) RELIA (10 min)
The students will prepare a fair.
They have to sell different antique objects applying the PRESENT PERFECT TENSE.
EXAMPLE:
This is “the Magic Lamp.” This object
is very value. It has been on the hands of the clever Aladdin. And now you can
have it for $5.00
Again mr. how are students going to show you their work if this is supposed to be online. The activities are nice to be done in the classroom. Directions are clear as well. you miss the pictures for the written exercises.
