SEMI-CONTROLLED ACTIVITIES
a)      WRITTEN ACTIVITY ( 10 min)
The students will read a letter; then, in pairs they have to provide a second letter as the answer for the first one. later you will record the song on voxoppop.

b)     LISTENING ACTIVITY (15 min)

d)     SPEAKING ACTIVITY (6 min)
The students will read about a touristic place; then they have the choice to talk about another one.

The massive human rights abuses of previous governments, especially the Rios Montt regime, is still a central and highly sensitive issue in Guatemalan domestic politics. Abroad, the main issue facing the country remains a territorial dispute with neighboring Belize.

f)       SPEAKING /  WRITING ACTIVITY (7 min)
Have the students make couples, and give them the questioner “HAVE YOU EVER…?.” They will ask their partner; after some minutes ask them to go around the classroom asking the same questions to different classmates (read the students the instructions written above the questions).

  1. In general, I can say the activities you have posted are to be done in a classroom, and it is great. Directions are clear, and it can be proved if they are done in a classroom but the issue is that we were supposed to create a lesson plan with activities to be done online.
